They complete the circle of that American R'n'B inspired hybrid known as "Ska" that became popular in 1960's Jamaica, bringing it back to the USA and re-acquainting it with its Jazz, Blues, and Rock N' Roll cousins. The Slackers have headlined countless US and European tours as well as supporting Rancid, Joe Strummer, Floggin Molly, Jimmy Cliff, Pennywise, Toots & the Maytals, The Pogues and John Spencer's Heavy Traffic creating a huge following in the process.
