Presenting the first ever Lucky Luxury Version LP, as well as the first-ever Lucky Luxury physical release, Limited edition of only 200 copies pressed.
Based in Kansas City, MO, L.L. is an established veteran of the US ska scene. Previously based in Lawrence, Kansas, he served as the guitarist for the highly regarded instrumental ska/reggae group The Secondhands (1996-2000), and its vocal off-shoot that came in the form of Brent Berry & The Roots Crew (2000-2002), and The Shop (2004-2006), another 60's-styled ska and reggae group that in typical ‘show band’ fashion focused on the choicest cuts from vintage Jamaican producers of legendary stature.
Enjoy these re-licked and re-worked reggae and rocksteady rhythms that originally appeared on the 2015 release, "Lucky Luxury...Goes SKA!".
Side A contains versions done in traditional 60's/early 70's style and fashion.
Side B contains late 70's & 80's dancehall, steppers, and digital version excursions.
